Any information you already know such as the size of the group, provisional or even a ‘set in stone’ date, eating requirements and timings is really helpful.

No two tours are the same so hopefully the helpful hints below will be of assistance.

Where to Visit?
You can choose your tour from the wide range of walking tours, coach tours, ‘Virtual Tours’ (talks) and combined coach/walking tours which are tailor made to your requirements.

The range provides over 60 to choose from and they cover areas all over London. Some have proved perennial favourites and include City Alleyways and Courtyards, Pirates and Penthouses in Wapping, Sunday Morning Markets, Jewish East End, View the Sporting Vision and Clerkenwell Corners.

Specialist areas and themes have their own pages Jewish Heritage, Women in London, the sporting Olympic Games of 2012 and East London. If these are of particular interest to you, all the tours you will find in one place.

If you don’t see the area or subject you are looking for just call or email with your thoughts and we can arrange a custom made tour for your group.

A Half Day or Whole Day Tour?
The tours listed on the Go London, Go Jewish London, Go Women’s London. Go 2012 and Go East London pages are typically half- day walking tours. Each lasts around two hours, depending on the pace of the group.
They take place morning, afternoon or evening depending on your requirements.

If you would like to add in a visit within the morning or afternoon tours the Historic Places and Museums page provide some ideas of places which add that something extra to make your tour that bit more special. Some have a small cost attached, others appreciate a donation. I can advise on this when we discuss your tour.

To make your tour into a Day Out then the Historic Places and Museums page provides ideas for visits in the same area of your walking tour. Some have costs attached and I will advise on these when we discuss the tour.

Walking or Coach or bit of Both?
Some tours are a walking tour only and I will typically meet you at at Tube station or, if you are arriving by coach, at a suitable meeting place. Some groups arrive by coach and have a walking tour and then a coach tour afterwards ... or the other way around.
Or, you may prefer to be on the coach for the whole tour with a stop for lunch.
Whatever your needs, I will ensure the visit fulfills them.
Take a look at the Coach Tours page for more information and ideas.

Eating
Some groups like to begin or end their tour at pub or with a meal. This is no problem as tours can be customised to meet your timing and eating needs. I will be glad to suggest venues which are in areas of the tours or, if you have your preferred eatery, I will work with you so that the route can begin or end where you have booked.

For groups coming from out of town a tea and comfort stop before the tour begins is always welcome and these can be arranged and I will meet you there.

Cost
With regards to the cost of a tour, it will vary depending on the size of the group and other elements such as transport and meals. If your group is large and you need more than one guide then I will ensure you have an additional guide, known to me, and who is also a Registered London Blue Badge or City of London guide.
If I am unavailable on the date you suggest then I will try and find you an alternative guide, again known to me.

Cancellation Policy
